MARRIAGE Story, the Noah Baumbach directed film, starring Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver premieres on Netflix this December.

When is Marriage Story released on Netflix?
Marriage Story was released in UK cinemas on November 15 and is still available to watch in some theatres across the country.
Netflix users or those who prefer not to see it on the big screen can watch the film via the streaming giant.
The movie is available worldwide on Netflix on December 6, which is just in time for Oscar season and, of course, Christmas too.
Oscar-nominated director Noah Baumbach, who has also worked on Greenberg, took charge of the movie about a divorcing couple.

What is the Marriage Story?
Marriage Story follows Nicole (played by Scarlett) and Charlie Barber as they go through the motions of divorce.
The once-happy couple embark on separation proceedings after Charlie becomes a star director in a New York theatre, while his wife puts her acting career on hold to raise their son.
Ultimately, their relationship suffers as the two go down different paths, and lawyers – Laura and Ray – are called in to determine who claims sole custody of the boy.

Noah uses this film to depict the personal tragedy of divorce and what leads up to it, while also demonstrating that love and hate go hand-in-hand.
The movie has received rave reviews, with ’s Terri White describing it as “this year’s best thrillers, comedies and romcoms all at once”.
