Real Housewives of Orange County star Lauri Peterson’s son Josh Waring moving to new jail after brutal attack
FORMER Real Housewives of Orange County star Lauri Peterson's son, Josh Waring, is moving to a new jail after surviving a brutal attack by a blade wielding thug.
A judge approved the move from Orange County Jail to Santa Ana City Jail on Friday.
The move is expected to have happened yesterday, according to.
Earlier this month shocking security footage showed Josh desperately fighting off a tattooed thug at the California jail.
He suffered a slash wound to his face and cuts to his arms in the October 9 attack. He needed stitches in his face and 20 staples for the injuries.
The 30-year-old - who has been in jail since 2016 for an alleged car theft and shooting - was targeted, according to his celeb mother.
"To see this actually come to fruition and happen is just horrific for me.
"I’m appalled, I’m sad, I’m brokenhearted, I’m disgusted, I’m concerned."
Peterson alleges that the guards have been covering up attacks on her son carried out by jail staff.
She added: "He's also been attacked by guards that are on video tape that is under protective seal, and it's being covered up right now.
"We’re trying to get that protective seal released so that the public can see the guard attack Josh in the middle of the night while he was sleeping."
Waring faces life imprisonment after allegedly shooting a man at a sober living home in June 2016 before fleeing in a stolen car - an allegation he denies.
He has been held on a $1million bail.
