Saffron Barker terrified of Strictly axe as AJ Pritchard has gone home after the Samba ‘every year’
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Saffron Barker has called out a key show trend that has left her "terrified" she will be given the boot in the dance off tonight.
The vlogger, paired with AJ Pritchard, took to Twitter in fear as she flagged something that had caused Stoke-born dancer AJ's downfall in each series.
Saffron, 19, cited how one routine in particular had caused the professional to be booted out - this being the Samba.
After the couple performed their own Samba to Walking On Sunshine on Saturday night's episode, the spooky similarity struck fear into her heart.
She took to Twitter to post: "May not of got the highest scores, but the samba is tough!!!
"And i had THE TIME OF MY LIFE!!!
"🥺🥺🥺 AJ has gone home every year with the Samba.. please vote for him and us!!"
She later added the plea: "Now.. LETS PRAY."
One fan took to the social media site to reply: "The most enjoyable SAMBA out of any of AJs partners... we loved it that 5 was absolutely out of order.
"They were so critical of you but they've let others off the hook...you're the strongest female celeb left and I want see the VW from you so yes we are going to vote!!!!!!"
Earlier this week, Saffron opened up on their exhausting Samba training routine, which she claimed was helping her sleep after her home was ransacked by thieves.
She reckons 12-hour training sessions with dance partner AJ leave her so exhausted that sleep is inevitable.
Saffron, who was left understandably petrified by the 3am raid of her Brighton home, said: “It was awful but thanks to Strictly I’ve coped OK.
“I’ve been fine sleeping because I’ve been so busy and exhausted after dancing all day. All I want to do is go to bed.

“Obviously it’s been scary but I never thought about pulling out of the competition. This is my dream. I wouldn’t let anything stop me on this show.”
Handbags were stolen from the vlogger, who lives with her parents and three brothers.
The family’s three cars were taken and they have now increased security.
She said: “What’s most important is that my family are safe. I don’t blame my YouTube videos for identifying us, as there have been loads of burglaries in our locality.
“We’ve massively upped security in the house now, with extra alarm systems.”
It remains to be seen who will leave Strictly in tonight's results show.
