The Apprentice’s Thomas Skinner claims he’s already been offered Dancing On Ice role as he’s fired alongside Marianne
THE Apprentice’s Thomas Skinner has claimed he’s already been offered a place on Dancing On Ice after he was fired alongside Marianne Rawlins.
During last night’s episode the lovable pillow salesman finally lost his place on the show during the first double firing on the series – but it might not be the last we see of him on TV.
Speaking to The Sun Online about what’s next, he said: “They’ve asked me do Dancing On Ice, but I need to see how many pillows I sell first.
“All doors for me are open at the moment.”
Dancing On Ice told The Sun Online that they are yet to discuss casting for the next series of the show.
Thomas was a surprise hit of The Apprentice but he admitted that he found the process difficult.
He told us: “I was surprised they even asked me to go on it. When they rang me up about going on it, I thought it was one of my mates winding me up, so I put the phone down on them.
“I felt massively out of my depth. Couldn’t have no beer while you were filming it, you couldn’t watch the telly. Wasn’t allowed my phone.”
Discussing the final boardroom, which saw Lord Sugar give him a passionate farewell speech, he said: “I think Lord Sugar knew I was always going to be alright but I think some of the others in there deserve the investment more than I do.

“It was emotional because it was sad but I was going because I knew I was going to go.”
He added: “I am so pleased that the public like me. I am a genuine bloke and it is lovely to have the support I have had.”
Meanwhile, Marianne didn’t think she bonded with Lord Sugar so well.
When asked if she was surprised to go this week, she said: “No not really. There was always a disconnect between Lord Sugar and I. I think he just couldn’t relate to me and that was something I couldn’t get over.
“I just know that he never really took a liking to me.”
