Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington ‘p****d off’ that he was robbed of killing Night King by Maisie Williams
KIT Harington wasn’t happy when he found out Jon Snow wouldn’t be the warrior to take down the dastardly Night King.
The leader of the White Walkers was vanquished in Game of Thrones’ final season during the attack on Winterfell.
Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, was the one to deliver the killing blow after sneaking up to the warlord and stabbing him with a dragonglass dagger.
Kit felt like he was robbed of the kill given Jon Snow’s extensive history with the Night King, being one of the first to encounter him north of The Wall.
He didn’t mince his words in behind-the-scenes documentary When Winter Falls, which comes as part of the complete collection, now available on DVD.
“I was p***ed that it wasn’ t me killing the Night King!” he confessed.
“I would’ve given you…I would’ve bet you thousands!”
Meanwhile Maisie was decidedly smug about her moment of heroism, gushing over Arya’s bravery and skill.
“I’m really proud of myself! I’m proud of everyone. I’m proud of the work that was put in,” she said.
Unable to resist taking a swipe at her on-screen half brother, she added: “And I was grateful that it was me and not Kit.”

Show runner David Benioff claimed that he’d known for years that Arya would be the one to defeat the Night King.
When she defeated the undead general, she also destroyed the legions of soliders he had reanimated with dark magic, thus saving Winterfell from annihilation.
“I think it’s been three years now that we’ve known that it would be Arya that delivered that fatal blow,” David explained.
“At the exact spot where the Children of the Forest took the dragonglass blade to create the Night King, and he’s uncreated by the Valyrian Steel.
“He’s the king on the chess board and when the king is toppled, the game is over, it doesn’t matter how many piece you have left.”
The comments come after Emilia Clarke blamed the brutal battle of Winterfell for Daenerys Targaryen’s decline into bloodlust.
The final season of Game of Thrones and the full series boxset is available on DVD and Blu-ray from 2nd December.
