Real Housewives Teresa Giudice’s husband Joe starts MMA training in Italy to, ‘shed some pasta’
JOE Giudice is getting a head start on a career in mixed martial arts.
Joe, 47, has been documenting his training progress on Instagram, most recently at a boxing gym in Salerno, Italy.
"MMA trainers in Salerno in my boxing shorts sort of," he captioned the photo of him holding up fists beside his trainers.
Friends on social media followers know that Joe's been eating well with family and friends since settling into life back home.
He shared photos of his wife Teresa Giudice and their daughters enjoying dinner together during their visit to Italy earlier this month.
The endless plates seem to be an extra source of motivation for the aspiring athlete to maintain his svelte physique.
Joe shared a picture of himself preparing to "shed some pasta" in the boxing ring.
"Getting ready to shed some pasta," he joked in the pic.
Although fans have only recently gotten a first-hand look into Joe's MMA aspirations, they've been in the works for a while.
Teresa Guidice, 47, told in September that Joe planned to explore a career in the spot once he was released from custody and added that he already has the body for it.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband showed off his sparring skills in a video on Wednesday, his first day of training with "real MMA trainers," as he says in the clip.
"Great workout felt good," he captioned the post.
Joe is seen throwing a flurry of fists and kicks at different punching bags of varying size and shape while his instructors watch intently.
He showed off his sparring skills against one of his trainers in another video he shared from his first day of training, which he says he "felt good" about.
Joe has been back home in his native Italy since he was released from the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement in October.
The father of four had been held by immigration officials since he completed his 41-month prison sentence in March.
In September, he filed a petition to appeal a October 2018 deportation order against him.
The Guidice family attorney confirmed to that his appeal has since been granted.
