Coronation Street star Mikey North’s wife Rachael gives birth to their second child
CORONATION Street star Mikey North's wife Rachael has given birth to their second child, it was revealed today.
The 33-year-old Gary Windass actor is now a dad of two with the pair, who already have a two-year-old called Archie, welcoming a baby girl.
The child was born in September but the couple kept quiet about the news so they could announce it in a magazine.
Mikey and 34-year-old Rachael are now set to reveal all the details in next week.
The star revealed that they were expecting another child in July.
He told OK!: "We've just moved house and put the name on the wallpaper that Rachael has chosen.
"Archie wouldn't let us call her anything else anyway, so he partly chose the name. But we're keeping it a secret."
Mikey insisted at the time that they wouldn't have any more children, saying: "I would be highly surprised if we had any more. Two is a great number."
Rachael revealed she'd suffered with "horrendous morning sickness" and lost more than a litre of blood during labour with their first son Archie.
Mikey joined Coronation Street as Gary in 2008, after small roles in Waterloo Road and Britannia High.
