CHERYL has sparked Girls Aloud reunion rumours by sharing a throwback of the group to mark their 17th anniversary.
The 36-year-old surprised her followers as she posted a picture featuring all of the girls – despite not speaking to Nadine Coyle in years.
Sharing the picture of herself, Sarah Harding, Nadine, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, she wrote: “Happy 17th Birthday GA.”
The post sent her followers into a frenzy and they started to speculate about what it might mean.
One person commented: “Reunion in 2020?”
Another added: “We need a summer tour’ make it happen Cheryl.”
While someone else remarked: “Time for a reunion.”
Nadine is currently taking part in I’m A Celebrity and prior to entering she opened up about her relationship with the band – admitting she hadn’t spoken to them in six years.
She told the : "I spoke to Sarah around the time of Big Brother but I haven’t seen or spoken to them since the end of Girls Aloud or just before I had my daughter.
"So that’s about six years ago. Sarah more recently at the start of Big Brother when she was very excited, but yeah I haven’t spoken to or seen any of them in about that long."

Girls Aloud split up in 2013 and at the time Nadine suggested the decision to end things was done behind her back.
She said at the time: "Not one of them had breathed a word. I know it sounds incredible but it’s true. I felt numb. It was a shock. I definitely hadn’t seen that coming."
However, in an interview with Attitude Magazine, Cheryl denied the claims and slammed the current I'm A Celebrity contestant, claiming she is "full of s**t”" and said she felt Coyle had “held them for ransom” in an attempt to secure herself a solo deal.
