Moment Liam Payne squares up to bouncers during explosive brawl on night out with Maya Henry
THIS was the moment Liam Payne got into an explosive brawl outside a nightclub in Texas and squared up to bouncers.
The former One Direction singer was refused entry into the club and later told fans on Instagram that he’d been “jumped by three bouncers” on a night out with girlfriend Maya Henry.
The Sun Online’s footage shows stunned witnesses trying to calm the pop star down after Liam, 26, got in a scuffle with door staff at the Silver Fox in Texas.
An American woman, who appears to be with Liam, can be heard screaming in the direction of the club “f**k you.
“Back up you f*****g p***ys we’ve been here for two hours.”
Later in the clip, the highly agitated singer confronts door staff as his girlfriend Maya holds him back, and he yells: “You be behind your boys? You be behind your boys? Don’t f******g push me again or I will lay your a**e out.”
Liam then appears to back away and an older woman stands between him and the entrance to the club, as a man dressed in blue tells him to “back up.”
Liam eventually backs down and is ushered into a waiting car.
The video emerged after Liam took to Instagram and revealed the row to his 18.2 million social media followers in a now-deleted post.
Holding nothing back, Liam tagged the venue in his post and said: “Three of your bouncers just jump me for no reason whilst I was grabbing my ID.
“I took pics of the whole thing, look forward to seeing you in court, a******s.”
Perhaps Liam decided his words were a little too strong, as the posts were removed from his account just minutes later.
Liam’s girlfriend Maya has yet to comment on the incident, but that the row was about Maya being too young to enter the bar – she’s 19, and the legal drinking age in Texas is 21.
The website claims that Liam and Maya were originally let into the bar as staff recognised the One Direction star – but later tried to kick him out when they realised Maya was underage. TMZ also reports that bouncers “pushed Liam to the ground” which is why the back of his shirt is dirty.
The couple were enjoying a night out at a karaoke bar when the incident took place. Maya is from nearby in San Antonio, so it looks like Liam had flown over to celebrate Thanksgiving with her.
The Strip It Down singer went public with his relationship with Maya in September following his split from Cheryl and they co-parent their son Bear.
It seems as though the Wolverhampton native is happy with his new beau.
Alongside an Instagram snap of the pair cuddling on the sofa, he said: “Sometimes I don’t recognise this happy guy… sure glad you brought him back though.”
He added: “Then last but not least this one @maya_henry for always keeping the biggest smile on my face through all the stress and making me realise how perfect my life really is.”
