The Walking Dead movies are still happening insists actress Pollyanna McIntosh
THE Walking Dead movies are definitely still happening, star Pollyanna McIntosh has insisted.
The actress - who plays Anne and Jadis in the American zombie drama - has insisted the previously announced film continuation of Rick Grimes' adventures will come to fruition.
She said on Instagram: "I just wanted to let you know that I can’t talk about the Rick Grimes movies and that, but they are still happening.
"And I’m looking forward to probably being a part of them.
"Just know that you guys are kind of waiting out there, and I’m waiting, too. And looking forward. That’s it from a little bird in la la land."
The movies were first announced in November 2018 when in the show Rick was found dying in the river by Anne before they were both taken away in a mysterious helicopter.
There has been little news of the development of the films or a release date since then, though a spoiler teased at Comic Con in July hinted Rick had been flown to Philadelphia.
Pollyanna recently told Red Carpet News TV: "I am expecting a lot of action and adventure, twists, as per usual.
"I’m sure there will be new walkers to see, because this is in a different place.
"And as we’ve seen with Jadis before, she had these weaponized walkers unlike any we’ve seen before, so I’m excited to see what [TWD special effects makeup artist Greg] Nicotero comes up with in that regard and these new versions of walkers that we’ll be able to see."

She added: "And to get Rick back. I really want to see Rick again, so I’m excited about that."
The project is a joint venture between AMC, the channel that broadcasts The Walking Dead, and Universal Pictures.
