Strictly’s Chris Ramsey says wife Rosie is furious at his weight loss – and it gives him ‘endless joy’

STRICTLY contestant Chris Ramsey has admitted his wife is furious at his weight loss since appearing on the BBC competition.

The comedian, 33, revealed partner, Rosie Winter, isn't happy with his slimmer figure and is even annoyed with the way he looks.

Speaking to , Chris said: "It is no secret that she is a little bit angry that I have lost so much while doing work.

"It’s not like I have had to go to a gym. I’ve got a really good metabolism. I can eat basically what I want and not be huge."

He added: "She’s very used to being annoyed at how I look. So yeah – just more of that, which just gives me endless joy.

"Honestly, I put a dress jacket on today that I wear if I am doing a corporate gig or a bit of a posh gig, or hosting awards or something.

"I put my jacket on today for a VT and I could button it. And I have never been able to button it in my life. Night and day I have lost so much weight, around my face as well. My posture is better.

"I am looking forward to undoing all that good work over Christmas."

The Geordie is currently competing for a place in the Strictly final alongside Emma Barton, Karim Zeroual and Kelvin Fletcher.

He broke down in tears during yesterday's semi-final following an emotional rhumba with Karen Hauer.

Chris was overcome with relief after performing the tricky routine and had to hug his professional dancer party while receiving feedback from the judges.

The comic from South Shields has been married to fellow comedienne wife Rosie since 2014.

The singer and actress hosts the podcast Sh**ged Married Annoyed with her husband, and they live together in a plush pad in Newcastle. 

The pair have a five-year-old son together called Robin.
