EastEnders’ Linda Carter passes out drunk in freezing cold Albert Square as son Lee returns to Walford
EASTENDERS' Linda Carter is going to pass out in the freezing Albert Square gardens at Christmas.
The Queen Vic landlady - who is played by actress Kellie Bright in the BBC soap - will drink too much as she struggles to cope with the festive season without booze and put herself in a dangerous situation - just as her son Lee returns to Walford.
Her husband Mick will confront her over his concerns about her drinking as she makes yet another show of herself in the Vic, but Linda's response leaves him shocked.
She promises to cut back her drinking in the New Year, however it lasts less than a day.
During the Ball and Change winners dinner Linda once again gets drunk after becoming embarrassed when she is the only one dressed up as Mrs Claus.
The dinner ends in disaster when a loose-lipped Linda fires barbs at Ruby forcing Mick to take drastic action and pour her wine down the sink in front of her.
She will explode at Mick's actions and lose control of herself - screaming at her husband about what he's done to her.
Only when she sees her young son Ollie has witnessed her outburst does she stop, but grabbing a bottle she heads out into the Square gardens to continue drinking and cope with her shame.
However, she drinks so much that she ends up passing out in the middle of the winter Square, which could spell disaster for her if she isn't found.
And while she's unconscious outdoors, she is unaware that Mick has arranged for her son Lee to visit for a Christmas surprise.
