Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards’ wife Mackenzie to give birth after holidays – and delivery will be filmed for show
TEEN Mom star Ryan Edwards’ wife Mackenzie is expected to give birth to their baby girl after the New Year - and the delivery will be featured on the upcoming season.
Ryan’s dad Larry exclusively revealed to The Sun Online that the baby girl is predicted to arrive days after Ryan’s January 3rd birthday.
The birth will be “special” for Ryan, 31, as he missed the October 2018 delivery of their son Jagger, 1, because he was completing a stint in rehab for heroin abuse.
Larry, who has appeared on Teen Mom OG, told The Sun Online: “She will be here after Christmas and the New Year. Ryan said he is going to spoil her.
"He wants to give her my Camaro! She’s going to be a daddy’s girl.”
The grandpa revealed Mackenzie’s pregnancy will be featured on the upcoming season.
He continued: “The crew is going to come in town a day or two before the baby comes to film the birth.”
But production almost missed the delivery, as Mackenzie started having labor pains last week.
Larry said: “They gave her medication and got it under control. She was on bed rest.”
The reality stars picked out a “family name” for the baby girl.
He explained: “The middle name is after a member on my wife Jen’s side. The first name is a modern name. It’s cool.”
Mackenzie, who married Ryan in 2017, announced the pregnancy in July.
She captioned a sonogram photo: “Baby Girl Edwards is coming in January!”
Ryan and Mackenzie’s daughter will join Bentley, 11, Ryan’s son from a previous relationship with Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout, 28.
The baby girl will also join Hudson, Mackenzie's son from a previous marriage, and Jagger.
Ryan and Maci were engaged when she gave birth to their son in 2008. They called their wedding off shortly after his birth.
The TMOG star married Taylor McKinney in 2016. They share daughter Jayde, 4, and son Maverick, 3.

The pregnancy announcement came after Ryan completed a 90-day jail sentence only months before in April.
He was locked up in January for breaking probation from a past possession of heroin charge.
He was also charged with theft of services under $1,000 when he allegedly failed to pay a bar tab of $36.
The theft case was dismissed.
