Joe Wicks reveals his son is called Marley as the newborn remains in hospital with an infection
JOE Wicks has revealed his son is called Marley, with the newborn baby remaining in hospital with an infection.
The 33-year-old Body Coach star welcomed his second child with wife Rosie earlier this month – three weeks before his due date.
Taking to his Instagram account earlier this evening, Joe updated fans on the little boy’s progress with a selection of adorable photos and a video.
He wrote: “We’ve finally decided on a name for our little boy. His name is Marley.
“He’s been in the hospital for a week now with an infection but he’s on the mend and getting stronger each day.
“The staff at the hospital have been so wonderful and so loving to him and Rosie everyday.
“This is the first time he’s properly opened his eyes and he’s just so chilled and relaxed even though he probably feels rough.
“Welcome to the world my little boy Marley.”
The post was quickly inundated with well-wishes from fans, who flocked to comment on how adorable Marley is.
The video showed the bundle of joy wrapped in a colourful knitted blanket as he curiously looked around the hospital room.
In one of the photos, Joe is kissing his son – who is wearing a tiny Santa hat – on the cheek, with the second image including their 17-month-old daughter Indie.
Joe announced Marley’s birth on 14 December with another social media post, which read: “We welcomed our little baby boy into the world today.
“He is the best early Christmas present ever. He decided to come 3 weeks earlier than expected and weighs 5lb 14oz.
“Rosie and the baby are both happy and doing great. We still haven’t got a name for him yet but I’ll share it when we do.
“Thanks for all your wonderful messages and well wishes for us all, Love Joe, Rosie, Indie and baby.”
Joe and Rosie married in June in a fairytale wedding, with the pair welcoming Indie in July last year.
