Sonia’s reasons for trying to rob £5,000 from Dot’s bank account are still unknown.
It could be something to do with her dodgy ex-husband Martin, who she is still in love with - and who will be in need of money to make his fresh start away from Walford after staging Keanu Taylor's death.
But there may be another reason she needs the cash - fans will just have to wait to find out.

Fans flocked to Twitter after the dramatic New Year’s episode to guess why Sonia had tried to steal the money.
One fan tweeted: “Didn't expect that from Sonia and then she had the nerve to pretend to be on the banks fraud line! What did she need the money for... a new trumpet?!” (sic)
