"It's the story of my life, I'm just really angry at myself," she said afterwards.

Trisha appeared emotional after the fall and had tears in her eyes as she talked to the judges.

And viewers were upset for the telly legend and proud of her for carrying on, with one tweeting: "Trisha may have tripped, but she carried on. We love you!"

Last year, Gemma Collins shocked fans when she tripped and fell face-first on the ice during one of the routines.

Reflecting on the tumble, Gemma said: "I remember thinking, 'I'm nearly at the end, I haven't fallen yet, this is a miracle, maybe I'll stay in for one more week.

"I got so excited, I just went too over the top with my movement, which you're not allowed to do in ice skating and my toe pick got caught – and bang."

She continued: "I thought I was dead. I literally thought I was dead.

Trisha's place on the show marks her return to TV after her chat show was cancelled in 2014.

It first aired on ITV from 2005 to 2009 but in 2012 moved across to Channel 5.

Unfortunately, it was cancelled after two years.

Trisha then took her show across the Pond - but sadly, it was canned after two series.

She performed live on the show for the first time tonight.
