Teen Mom star Amber Portwood claims baby daddy Andrew kept son away from her during Christmas amid nasty custody war
TEEN Mom OG star Amber Portwood is accusing baby daddy Andrew Glennon of denying her time with their son over the Christmas holiday in their latest custody showdown.
Amber, 29, claimed Andrew, 35, denied her visitation with their 1-year-old son James during the holidays despite their custody agreement, court papers exclusively obtained by The Sun Online allege.
The Teen Mom OG star claimed: “Father denied me parenting time over the Christmas holiday and took the child out of state preventing me from having any holiday parenting time.”
She alleged in the Indiana court papers that this is the “second consecutive holiday” she was denied time with their son.
The reality star explained that while there is no current order for child support, she has allowed Andrew and James to live in her home free of rent.
Amber, who is also mother to daughter Leah, 11, with ex Gary Shirley, claimed she “attempted to resolve this matter with Father several times prior to his departure from the state to no avail.”
Amber is requesting the court set a hearing and issue an order preventing Andrew from interfering with her parenting time.
She is also asking Andrew pay her attorney fees.
Andrew has not responded to The Sun Online’s request for comment.
The cinematographer has primary physical custody of James.
They share joint legal custody, allowing Amber three unsupervised visits a week with the toddler.
Andrew filed for primary custody of James after Amber was arrested for domestic violence against him on July 5, 2019.
Police records claimed she hit him with a shoe as he held their son during an altercation.
Andrew contacted authorities after she allegedly hit a locked door with a machete while the father and son were inside the room.
She was initially charged with domestic battery, a felony count of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and a felony count of domestic battery.
Amber accepted a plea deal to avoid jail time for the intimidation charge, which was later added.
She is on probation for nearly three years.
Since the arrest, Amber and Andrew have fought over their son in court.
On November 6, she filed court papers demanding Andrew be held in contempt of court for refusing to allow her visitation with their son, including on Halloween.
She claimed he failed to set up court app Our Family Wizard, which is the only way the two are legally able to communicate, as he has a no-contact order against her.
Then in December, it appeared the two were finally parenting well.
The Sun Online reported Andrew filed a motion to postpone their court hearing regarding her claims that he withheld their son.
He claimed in court papers that Amber is “exercising regular parenting time.”

The two were ordered to mediation prior to a final custody hearing.
Amber has already moved on from her ex-boyfriend, as The Sun Online broke she is dating Belgian man Dimitri Garcia.
After meeting online, Dimitri, 39, traveled to Indiana to meet the mom of two.
A new season of Teen Mom OG is set to premiere early this year with the arrest and custody battle as her storyline.
