Dancing On Ice’s Kevin Kilbane admits he ‘couldn’t be happier’ with skater girlfriend Brianne Delacourt

KEVIN Kilbane revealed he "couldn't be happier" with skater girlfriend Brianne Delacourt and gushed about their "chemistry" on tonight's Dancing On Ice.

Retired Everton ace Kevin, 42, came up with the goods on the ice, scoring a respectable 18 for his footy-inspired routine to Mr Blue Sky.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield couldn't help but have a little fun when announcing the couple, giggling and cheering while telling viewers Kevin and Brianne, 28, were an item.

In his VT, Kevin said: "Bri and I have a lot in common, a lot of chemistry.

"We have hit it off. There has been a bit of attention in the papers. There's a bit of pressure. I'm delighted. I couldn't be happier."

Back in the studio Holly continued to be playful.

She said to Brianne: "Most people want to win the title, you're going home with a whole lot more. You're a tough teacher, how is it going?"

The pro skater replied: "I'm definitely the boss on the ice. I allow him to be the boss at home."

Canadian Brianne has also dated Corrie’s Danny Young and EastEnders actors Sam Attwater and Matt Lapinskas.

She partnered with Matt on the show in 2013 but they split amid accusations he cheated on her with two other women.

Kevin won 110 caps for Ireland and played for nine clubs including Everton and Sunderland.

He is single after splitting from wife Laura in 2011.

The Sun revealed they were dating last month.

A source said: “There was a real attraction and chemistry between the two of them from the word go.

“Hours of training meant it became more than just a professional relationship and now they are fully dating.

"They’re both single and having a lot of fun together both on the ice and off it.”

In 2016 Brianne had daughter Gracie with an unnamed fiance she later split from.

Kevin, 42, was married to Laura for 12 years and they have two daughters.
