The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco’s Harley Quinn adult cartoon snapped up by E4
THE Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco’s Harley Quinn adult cartoon has been snapped up by E4.
The 34-year-old actress - who played Penny in the CBS sitcom - is voicing the animated series about the DC character.
While the show will be available in the US on the DC Universe streaming service, E4 has added the series to its schedule in the UK.
The cartoon will follow Harley as she tries to establish her own villain identity following her split from The Joker.
The exes are at odds throughout the first season and Harley also crosses paths with Batman, Poison Ivy and Wonder Woman.
Kaley recently opened up about the series, saying: "She just doesn't want to be Joker's girlfriend anymore.
"She wants to lead the pack, which I find very appropriate for this kind of day and age and vibe that we're in."
However, Kaley has also admitted she found voicing Harley "hard".
She told : "After a few weeks, it became more manic and hysterical, so I wanted to go back and re-record [the earlier episodes] to make sure it was just as bad**s from the beginning."
She added: "I think with any character, especially when on a new show, it takes some getting used to.

"I've perfected certain looks and facial expressions over the years, so this in a way was harder — also because I'm voicing someone as iconic as Harley."
The series also features the voices of Veep actor Tony Hale, Wanda Sykes and Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito.
