RHONJ’s Joe Giudice insists there’s ‘no competition’ between him and ex Teresa for daughters’ affection
REAL Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice has hit back at claims he's in 'competition' with ex Teresa for their daughters' love.
hit back at a follower who accused the former couple of competing for their children's affection after he shared a picture of two of his daughters, Milania, 15, and Gabriella, 16.
The former inmate, who served more than three-year federal prison sentence for fraud, captioned the charming photo: "M and G" along with several love heart emojis.
In response to the family photo, one fan questioned: "Are you and Teresa having a contest?"
To which, Joe, who is also dad to Gia, 19, and Audriana, 11, answered: "Teresa and I both love our girls same no competition I thought I share other two".
The response comes days after claimed Joe was trying to turn their girls against her.
In a preview clip for this week's episode of , Teresa claimed her estranged husband Joe had turned their daughters "against" her prior to their split.
Following a phone call with the imprisoned father-of-four, she said during a confessional: "Joe always gets the girls to go against me."
When the scene was shot Joe, who is not an American citizen, was in an ICE detention facility following a more than three-year federal prison sentence for fraud.
He called his wife to wish her a Happy Mother's Day, but the estranged Bravo couple quickly started bickering when she told him the girls bought her a name plate necklace.
In an interview later in the clip, Teresa said she felt ousted by her daughters: "It hurts me tremendously. There should be no sides taken."
Tensions in the scene rose when Joe relayed that he's come to appreciate his family more since being away from them in prison.
The 47-year-old mother-of-four argued he should always value them, not just when things get tough.

Since filming the episode, Joe and Teresa officially separated following 20 years of marriage.
However, they have apparently yet to file for divorce.
Joe is now awaiting the outcome of his latest federal deportation appeal in his native country of Italy.
