Annabella Sciorra was born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 29, 1960.
Her mother was a fashion stylist, her father was a vet and are both immigrants from Italy.
She studied dance as a child and later in life she began to take drama lessons.
Sciorra was married to fellow actor Joe Petruzzi from 1989 to 1993.
In 2004, she began dating former Boardwalk Empire star Bobby Cannavale.
The pair split in 2007, with reports suggesting the two were on a break, as Bobby needed time to adjust to being a father, boyfriend and actor.
Despite reports saying they needed time away from each other, the pair never got back together.
