Fear not Taylor fans, you can now catch Miss Americana on Netflix.

The documentary dropped TODAY (January 31, 2020) at 8am.

The film is a one-off, and NOT a series.

It runs for 1 hour and 25 minutes.

What will happen on Taylor Swift's Miss Americana documentary?

In this revealing documentary, Taylor embraces her role as a songwriter and a performer.

Fans will see Taylor open up about an eating disorder she battles with.

The documentary pays particular attention to Taylor's political awakening, as she sues a Colorado disc jockey for sexual assault and begins to speak out against conservative lawmakers.

The documentary also includes some tender moments, with Taylor describing how she fell in love with British actor Joe Alwyn.

The star says she was attracted by his "wonderful, normal, balanced kind of life," and that he helped anchor her during one of the most difficult periods in her life.

Taylor also reveals that people "didn't see" her for a year following a backlash against her.

Her feud with Kanye West is also talked about.

 

What have the reviews been like for the documentary?

Miss Americana received a standing ovation after its gala screening in Utah.

However, some critics felt that the documentary only skimmed the surface of Taylor's true story.

Matt Goldberg on said: "Swift's awareness of her public persona and how she's perceived gives Miss Americana a low-hum of image management, which in turn makes you question the authenticity of Swift."

's critic Tim Grierson said:  "The trouble with Miss Americana is that, although there is honesty and vulnerability, there's also something rehearsed and distant about it.

"Swift invites us in, but she only lets us see so much."
