The actress already had a boozy karaoke party earlier this week to say goodbye to the cobbles, but decided she would have one more party to wave a proper farewell.

After filming her last scenes on Thursday, she really let her hair down by throwing a lavish bash to say bon voyage last night.

Her fellow Corrie cast also treated her to a leaving gift and Lucy was seen leaving the bash with a personalised card, gift bags, flowers and a balloon.

At the party, Lucy treated guests to cupcakes and chocolate bars with her face on, as well as plenty of cocktails.

There was also a wall of flowers and balloons and a DJ, who got the guests dancing.

Lucy shared lots of videos on her Insta story of her enjoying a tipple and singing along to the music with her friends.

The blonde star was seen dancing with co-stars, as well as friends and family, as she necked drinks and let her hair down.

Before the party she Lucy shared an emotional goodbye on Instagram and admitted she broke down in tears as the cameras stopped rolling.

She wrote: "I’m writing this with mascara all over my face and tears/snot dripping onto my clothes but that’s a wrap... on what has been the most incredible 5 years of my life.

"It’s so crazy to me that 5 years ago, I had just finished 6th form and had no idea what direction life was going to take me in."

Lucy shot her final scenes on Thursday and was waved off by fans fans who had gathered at the studio.

An insider told The Sun Online:  “Lucy was greeted by loads of fans as she left the set. It was very emotional, people were crying as they showered her with gifts. Some had waited over two hours to say goodbye and one girl had travelled six hours to be there and just to give her a card."

An TV insider added:  "It's too early to know who'll be on this year's Strictly, but bosses speak to a lot of celebs before they sign the line-up.

“Lucy is hopeful she'll be in with a chance as it's a huge opportunity and she'd get to learn to dance."

Last series her former co-star Catherine Tyldesley took part in Strictly after leaving Corrie. Natalie Gumede and Georgia May Foote have also done the show.

The actress shot her final scenes, which is likely to air in March of this year, yesterday and Lucy admitted how emotional it made her.

Of course, as long as her character isn't killed on Corrie, she could always make a comeback later in the future if things don't go to plan.

Lancashire lass Lucy was called in to take the role in 2015, continuing on from the work of three child actors who played Bethany between 2000 and 2007.

She was subsequently nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2015 Inside Soap Awards and won an NTA in 2018.
