Peaky Blinders reveals title for season six premiere and teases ‘more to come’ as production officially kicks off
THE title of Peaky Blinders' season six premiere has been revealed as production officially kicks off.
The BBC One drama's director Anthony Byrne took to Instagram on Sunday to share a picture of the front page of a script.
It revealed that the series opener is called 'Black Day' and Anthony captioned the shot: "We are in pre-production on Season 6.
"More to come, By Order of..."
Anthony is returning for his second stint as director, having been at the helm of season five.
The last series ended on a cliffhanger as Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) started to lose his mind and was on the verge of killing himself after seeing the ghost of his dead wife, Grace (Annabelle Wallis).
Earlier this month, Anthony revealed which characters would be returning for series six.
Speaking on the Obsessed With Peaky Blinders podcast, Anthony said: "Obviously Gina (Anya Taylor-Joy) and whoever her family are will make themselves known, Oswald Mosley and some people around him and his world.”
Tommy started to unravel at the end of season five after his attempt to bump off Oswald (Sam Claflin) failed.
Sam, 33, has also shared his hopes over what fans could see from his fascist character in future episodes based on his real life history.

Speaking to UPROXX in October last year, he said: "Not long after the 30s, he married Lady Diana Mitford, who herself was quite a notorious human being.
"Their wedding was at Joseph Goebbels’ summer house, one of the nastiest Nazis ever, and Adolf Hitler was in attendance, so that is a life event I would like to portray on Peaky Blinders.
“Tommy Shelby and Hitler in a room together would be quite eventful.”
