James Jordan takes a swipe at Dancing on Ice’s Caprice and calls Hamish a ‘lovely, hard working guy’
JAMES Jordan took a swipe at Dancing On Ice’s Caprice Bourret as he showed his support for Hamish Gaman last night.
The 41-year-old, who won the skating show last year, took to Twitter to praise the pro skater after the American model accused him of “gaslighting” behaviour that led to them separating.
He told his followers: "I spent 5 months working around Hamish from DOI last year and he's a wonderful hard working guy who is lovely. Take from that what you will."
The comment comes after The Sun On Sunday revealed that Caprice, 48, is poised to sue ITV over bullying claims.
She complained to TV bosses about the pro’s psychological manipulation and threatened to quit unless she was given a new partner.
According to backstage sources, a supervisor was brought in to monitor their training for Dancing on Ice as tensions between the duo turned “toxic”.
A crew member said: “Hamish is an incredibly hard taskmaster and was pushing Caprice beyond her capabilities.
“She was giving it her all but felt like it was never enough.
“He was relentless, and basically gaslighted her.
“His bullying wore Caprice down. She complained to execs, yet not much was done besides bringing in a supervisor.
“Instead she was portrayed as a diva, which couldn’t be further from the truth.
“Caprice won’t stand for bullying in the workplace, and has been advised she has grounds to go legal. For now, she wants to give her all to the show.”

While Hamish, 36, will not skate with Caprice again, ITV confirmed he will still take part in the show’s group numbers.
Since the news broke that Hamish and Caprice would no longer be dancing together, the skater has been inundated with support from his fellow pros.
An ITV spokeswoman said: “We take allegations of bullying very seriously but found no evidence on Dancing On Ice and strongly refute any suggestion to the contrary.”
