What happened on White House Farm tonight?

WARNING: Contains spoilers from episode four of White House Farm.

Brett's hold over Jeremy

At the beginning of the episode we saw Brett selling off Jeremy's parents antiques as he looked on.

Neither of them seem bothered or in anyway sad as Brett sold off Jeremy's dead dad's war medals.

Later, when they were getting ready for the funeral Brett made a a joke that Jeremy was "filled with grief" which caused Jeremy to giggle.

In the last part of the episode they were seen going to Shelia's house to go through her things - with Brett coldly saying: "It's not going to be a gold mine like your parents place, but you never what you might find."

It comes across that Brett is after any money that can be made from the deaths of Jeremy's family.

Was this the reason for his visit?

Jeremy had an affair

We learnt that Jeremy had been sleeping with Julie's best friend.

He brought it up after he was left alone with the friend when Julie went to bed.

The friend was shocked at him bringing it up now, and told him that she didn't want Julie finding out because she "cares about her".

Jeremy then cruelly replied: "But it didn't stop you f***ing me though."

The funeral

Jeremy's reaction at the funeral was far from that of a man grieving the loss of his ENTIRE family.

He appeared to shed crocodile tears as he left the church.

Later at the wake Jeremy was seen flirting with a woman called Nancy.

This doesn't go unnoticed by Julie who said to her friend: "You don't know how evil he is."

Later Julie got upset and DS Stan Jones followed her into the kitchen and told her she can "talk to him" about anything.

The robbery

The manager of Jeremy's family caravan park revealed to Stan at the funeral that before the murders, the park had been robbed and was an "inside job".

He pointed the finger at Jeremy.

He said he didn't come forward before because he didn't want to upset Jeremy's dad Nevill.

Stan was sacked

Stan's boss Taff was NOT happy that he went behind his back to complain that the Bamber case wasn't being handled properly.

Taff raged at Stan about his "betrayal" before sacking him from the case.

A tearful Stan then went home and wept to his wife "he's going to get away with it" - referring to Jeremy slaughtering his family.

Shock confession

After Jeremy taunted her with Nancy, Julie lost her temper - as though she couldn't take anymore.

Throughout the series so far we have seen Julie on the verge of revealing something she knows about Jeremy - and in episode four she could hold it in no further.

The show ended with Julie at the police station ready to talk to Stan - despite him being taken off the case.

She then said: "I want to tell you what really happened... that night at White House Farm."

The plot thickens.
