Duane “Dog” Chapman’s daughter, 32, was against law enforcement and resisting arrest after she “got into an argument with her girlfriend,” Lyssa told The Sun.
The former bail bondswoman said she and her partner Leiana had “both been drinking” and began to argue - but were not violent.
The Colorado native revealed she was “surprised” when two police officers later showed up at their home and claims she was arrested after she “put her arm up to the police officer to stop them coming in.”
"The situation was definitely escalated by the police and they were very rough with me," she told The Sun.
"I will be filing a complaint against the cops.
"The whole thing has been really upsetting.
"I’m sorry and embarrassed, it's just been a stressful time for me and my family.”
She and her girlfriend are still on good terms, she said, and they just want to put the incident behind them.
The arrest happened in Kaneohe County, Hawaii on Thursday at 10:05pm for the charges, Central Receiving in Honolulu confirmed to The Sun.
She was released on $600 bail later that night, .
Lyssa’s brush with the law comes after a drama-filled week with her to his controversial new girlfriend on the Dr. Oz Show.
The tearful star, 66, popped the question on-air to his new lover - who was also his late wife Beth Chapman’s .
Moon - who acted as her friend’s personal assistant too - reportedly began her relationship with Dog only weeks after Beth’s tragic passing from cancer in June 2019.
After Lyssa feuded with her dad for months, the reality star allegedly proposed to Moon as a “threat” if she and the rest of his family , an insider claimed.
Lyssa last month: “You’re a disgusting woman. Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a ‘friend’ to, is the lowest scum on the planet.”
Soon after the attack, Dog posted a photo with his lover and Lyssa went off again: “If someone who met your family by dating your brother tried to date your father after your step-mom died, what would you do?”

Moon defended herself and hastily fired back: “We’re talking about ONE person destroying more than one person here. NOBODY is behaving like she is. A child who never even loved Beth.
“You people don’t want the truth and keep rewarding bad behavior. Something, even family, must walk away from family.”
The day before her arrest, Lyssa with a tribute on Twitter
"Beth, I went to Bubba Gump Co. today and said goodbye to your booth. I remember all the drinks, memories, shopping trips,
"Christmas's and FUN we had. I miss you so much. Constantly trying to keep your legacy alive,” she wrote alongside a throwback photo of the pair together.
