Katie Price’s £2m mucky mansion has piles of rubbish dumped outside as it undergoes makeover for TV show
WORK is well underway to transform Katie Price’s mucky mansion once and for all.
Images taken of the sprawling East Sussex mansion today show piles of rubbish dumped outside as builders get to work inside.
The 41-year-old seems to have had a huge clear out as everything from cabinets to toys can be seen around the back of the house.
Over the years the property, which is worth £2milllion, has fallen into a state of disrepair both inside and outside.
The eleven room house was full of piles of clothes, toys and dirt, while outside the pool was left to resemble a swamp.
Katie, who was declared bankrupt at the end of last year, has been staying with friends and in the mansion’s annexe since building work on the main house got underway, which hasn’t been ideal for her five children.
She is documenting the transformation in the next series of My Crazy Life as it will focus on the makeover.
A source previously said: “Katie’s really excited about the new project – she’s telling everyone that the cameras will follow the work on the house, ending with a big reveal.
“She’s sick of the dust, the rubble, the mess and the exposed wires – but she can’t afford to pay anyone to fix it.
“Filming it as a TV show is perfect because she’s hoping the TV channel will cover the costs of the builder, plus she’ll get furniture and furnishings for free through the show with product placement and brand sponsorship.
