Phoebe actress Lisa broke the news by sharing a throwback photo of the pair together at an event.

She captioned the pic: "Finally!!! Yay!! Can't believe my MY EYES Welcome to Instagram @mattperry4 #friends4life"

The famous quote is from the episode The One Where Everybody Finds Out where Phoebe and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) check out Ross' (David Schwimmer) new apartment.

But while they look around, they catch a glimpse of Chandler - played by Matthew - and Monica (Courteney Cox) having sex in the building opposite.

"So today, unfortunately, it's still a maybe," he added.
