The Walking Dead releases episode titles and plot details for mid-season return – promising bloody siege on Alexandria

THE Walking Dead has revealed some new information about the upcoming episodes ahead of its return.

Comicbook.com have revealed the name of episodes 9 and 10 of season 10b, as well a little taste of what fans can expect from the remainder of series 10.

The mid season-finale saw the Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa McBride), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Jerry (Cooper Andrews), Magna (Nadia Hilker) and sisters Kelly (Angel Theory) and Connie enter a cave to try and find the walker horde.

However, they fell into a trap and are now completely surrounded by the undead.

The ninth episode is called Squeeze, which will see the gang do their best to try and get out of the tricky situation.

ComicBook.com reports "Squeeze" comes from writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and is being directed by Michael E. Satrazemis.

Episode 10 has been given the chilling name of "Stalker."

The synopsis reads that "Our group must defend Alexandria from a threatening, outside force."

The episode has been written by Jim Barnes and directed by Bronwen Hughes.

This is not Barnes's first rodeo on The Walking Dead, as he also wrote episode 3 on series 10 called Ghosts, whilst his co-writer Hughes is making his first directorial debut on The Walking Dead.

Danai Gurira's Michonne is set to make her exit from the show.

The 41-year-old has been part of the horror TV series since 2012, making her first appearance during the third season.
