Kelvin Fletcher’s wife insists marriage is fine and her ring was off because ‘it’s fake tan day’ after his 3am Oti pics
KELVIN Fletcher’s wife has insisted their marriage is still on after his night out with Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse - and says her wedding ring was only off because it was "fake tan day".
Eliza Marsland broke her silence today after images emerged of her not wearing her ring just hours after she unfollowed the 36-year-old former Emmerdale star.
However today she denied there was an issue, posting on Instagram: "That ring is heavy. It only comes out on special occasions! Oh and it was fake tan day #nodramahere."
A source told The Sun Online: "Their marriage is fine - she got a bit upset about his nights out while she was at home but there's nothing more to it than that."
Last night we revealed the ex-Emmerdale actor raced home in a bid to save his five-year marriage with his childhood sweetheart after she erupted over his images of him drinking in the early hours with Oti.
Pals say Kelvin begged for forgiveness but this morning she appeared to have ditched her wedding ring.
Kelvin and Eliza - who married in 2015 - share two children, daughter Marnie, three, and son Milo, one.
It comes after he has spent months travelling and performing as a result of his success on the BBC1 show.
Oti and Kelvin were pictured heading into London’s Soho Sanctum hotel at 3.30am on Friday, where they had drinks with other Strictly pros and celebs.
They both left alone but were pictured again the following night having a nightcap together alone.
They were also spotted together in an East London nightclub back in January.
A source said: “Kelvin and Eliza’s relationship has really been hit by his Strictly success.
“On Monday morning she told him enough was enough and deleted him from social media because she didn’t want to look at pictures of him anymore. He’s desperately trying to salvage what they have.

“They’ve barely seen each other since he won Strictly in December and seeing him out late with Oti hasn’t helped.
Oti, 29, who wed dancer Marius Lepure in 2016, is said to be horrified their friendship has caused problems.
The source added: “Eliza and the children mean everything to Kelvin. He has told Eliza she has nothing to worry about. Their family think they’ll come through but it’s not going to be easy. Oti feels mortified.”
Kelvin and Oti lifted Strictly's famous Glitterball trophy in December last year, with the pair breaking down in tears as it was revealed they had won the show.
