How Caroline Flack’s best pal stayed with her on Valentine’s Day but star took her life within minutes of her leaving
FRAGILE Caroline Flack took her own life just minutes after her best friend left her flat.
Caring Lou Teasdale, 36, had stayed with the star on Valentine’s Day and overnight.
Caroline had been left terrified and frightened after learning prosecutors were not going to drop the assault case against her.
Friends and family were increasingly concerned for her welfare so hair stylist Lou volunteered to be at her side on Friday.
That evening, at 10.30pm, an ambulance arrived in response to a 999 call made from the flat.
Two paramedic crews assessed Caroline before deciding she did not need hospital treatment and was fit to be left at home.
Lou stuck by Caroline’s side all night before leaving at 9.30am to go to the shops.
Sources said Caroline’s body was discovered by a friend later that day.
Ambulance crews were called again at 2.30pm and the star was pronounced dead at the scene.
A close source said: “Caroline had been unwell on Friday but by the time crews got there she was feeling much better and was coherent and responsive to them. She refused to go to hospital.
“Caroline was with Lou and other friends and so everyone was satisfied she would be OK.
“Lou then stayed overnight. She was absolutely brilliant with her. On Saturday morning Caroline insisted she was fine and persuaded her friend to go home.
“No one is blaming Lou for a second. She couldn’t have done any more. She is understandably distraught. It is so awful for her.”
London Ambulance service confirmed paramedics were sent on Friday night, and again on Saturday afternoon.
Another friend, TV producer Mollie Grosberg, laid flowers outside Caroline’s flat today.
She put pictures of them together on social media and wrote: “I hope we find peace with each other the way she has found it now.
“She brought us all together. I love you forever and always my baby girl. I kissed your head yesterday and it was the last time and it was the most precious feeling. I love you for ever and ever and ever.”
It emerged that Caroline had been due at the Country Dog Hotel in Somerset yesterday — for a pamper day for pet bulldog Ruby.

The hotel posted yesterday: “We can’t believe you are gone. You were supposed to be here with Ruby and us today.
“Your concern for Ruby was always forefront in your mind despite going through the worst time of your life and being so, so fragile.”
Caroline shared a last Instagram post of her kissing her beloved dog 36 hours before she died.
TV pals Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby paid tribute on Dancing On Ice today.
Phil said: “We’d like to take a moment to remember Caroline Flack in light of yesterday’s awful news. We wanted to say our hearts go out to her family and friends.”
Holly added: “Many of us on the show knew Caroline as a friend. We’ll all miss her enormously.”
“As Caroline recently posted, in a world where you can be anything, be kind.”
