Doctor Who cast: Who is starring in season 13?
DOCTOR WHO has returned for its' thirteenth series with an epic Halloween special on October 31.
But there has been a massive shake-up in the cast as the show will be welcoming a whole host of new faces, including two Line of Duty stars.
Who will be in the cast of Doctor Who season 13?
After the Revolution of the Daleks special, the Tardis team will look quite different.
Bradley Walsh, who played Graham, and Ryan actor, Tosin Cole, have both left Doctor Who - so here's all the details on who is joining.
Jodie Whittaker as The Thirteenth Doctor
Jodie Whittaker reprises her role as The Doctor, returning for a third season as the Time Lord - although this time, it'll be the last.
She revealed in January 2020 that she would continue in the lead role for a final series, having become the first female to play the famous character back in 2017.
Jodie has starred in Broadchurch, Black Mirror and the St Trinian's films.
Mandip Gill as Yasmin Khan
Mandip Gill is back for her third season as Yaz.
Doubt was cast over her future after fans wondered about what lengths she would go to protect the Doctor against The Cybermen in series 12 and if she would escape the series unscathed.
But she is back in the Tardis.

John Bishop as Dan
Liverpudlian comedian John Bishop will become one of the new faces of Doctor Who as Dan.
He said: "If I could tell my younger self that one day I would be asked to step on board the Tardis, I would never have believed it.
"It's an absolute dream come true to be joining Doctor Who and I couldn't wish for better company than Jodie and Mandip."
John is best known for his stand-up comedy shows along with starring on popular quiz show A League Of Their Own.
Rochenda Sandall
Line Of Duty's Rochenda Sandall is another familiar face set to appear in the next instalment of the show.
The Rada-trained actress, who portrayed villain Lisa McQueen in the BBC One cop drama, will guest star in season 13 as announced by the BBC on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
She has made several appearances on the box, notably in episodes of Criminal: UK between 2019 and 2020, Unprecedented, Black Mirror, Girlfriends, Love, Lies And Records, Coronation Street, and Doctors as PC Jenny Briggs.
She was also featured in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker as a Sith Fleet officer in 2019.
While her role is yet to be revealed, Rochenda is not the only Line of Duty star to be added to the mix.
Craig Parkinson
The line-up of the upcoming season of Doctor Who also includes Craig Parkinson.
In 2011, he became one of Line Of Duty's key characters, portraying DI Matthew "Dot" Cottan, reprising his role for the second and third series of the drama.
He has since had uncredited appearances in the BBC show in its fourth and fifth series.
Much like Rochenda, his role in season 13 of Doctor Who has not been made clear.
The actor has appeared in many other British TV staples in the likes of Misfits and Whitechapel.
He said: "I feel tremendously lucky to have joined the Doctor Who family this season. My son loves the show and as long as he gives me his seal of approval, I'll know I've done it justice!"
Sue Jenkins
Sue Jenkins is one of the latest faces to join the Doctor Who cast, although also awaits confirmation.
Notably known for portraying barmaid Gloria Todd in ITV's Coronation Street (1985-1988), she then went on to star in Channel 4 soap opera Brookside from 1991 to 2001.
Her TV credits include How We Used to Live, The Beiderbecke Affair, Emmerdale, Heartbeat, Casualty and Doctors.
Steve Oram
Fans of The End of The F***ing World may know Steve Oram better as Phil but as of October 31, 2021 - the air date for the thirteenth series of Doctor Who - they will get to know him under a new name.
Set to appear in the next Doctor Who instalment, Steve Oram's character has not yet been introduced to the public.
With a whopping amount of TV and cinema credits to his name, the British actor has also made an appearance in the seventh episode of Line Of Duty's sixth season, in the role of a medical counsellor.
He first gained media recognition in 2012 after appearing in the dark comedy Sightseers, which he also co-wrote.
When will Doctor Who series 13 be released?
As mentioned above, series 13 of Doctor Who premiered on October 31, 2021, with a Halloween-themed special.
The season will be the last led by Chris Chibnall as head writer and executive producer.
He will be replaced by Russell T Davies who will reprise his role as showrunner.
Chris said: "It's monumentally exciting and fitting that Doctor Who's 60th anniversary will see one of Britain's screenwriting diamonds return home."
He added: "Russell built the baton that is about to be handed back to him."
