Caroline Flack-inspired T-shirt by In The Style raises £200k for Samaritans as fans rally to pay tribute
A CAROLINE Flack-inspired charity T-shirt has now raised more than £200,000 for the Samaritans as fans rallied to pay tribute to the tragic TV star.
Caroline, 40, was found dead after taking her own life at her London home on Saturday.
The Love Island star had bravely spoken out about her mental health problems and in one of her final Instagram posts wrote: "In a world where you can be anything... Be kind."
Fashion firm In The Style yesterday launched a T-shirt emblazoned with the quote and announced all profits would be donated to the Samaritans.
Brand boss Adam Frisby today said: "Honestly I am so so overwhelmed at the support for this. OVER £200,000 now raised for @samaritanscharity in 24 hours is just beyond incredible.
"The sole purpose of these #BeKind tees was to spread love, raise awareness and donations for charity and it’s definitely done that.
"I know everyone is so deeply sad in light of recent events and I’m gutted I cannot change what’s gone but people coming together in support of this is just so special and I am hopeful it will have such a huge impact for so many people."
Within just a few hours the T-shirt had raised more than £100,000 and new stock has been ordered to meet demand.
Caroline's pals say she had been tormented as she faced an assault trial next month after allegedly attacking boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27, at her then home in December last year.

Caroline strongly denied the charge and her management team has slammed the CPS for pursuing the case despite Lewis saying he didn't support the prosecution.
She and Lewis had pleaded with authorities for it to be dropped given her vulnerable mental state.
Love Island co-presenter Iain Stirling repeated Caroline's 'Be Kind' plea as he paid tribute to her at the start of last night's show.
He said: "Like many of you, right now we are just trying to come to terms with what has happened.
"My only hope is that we can all try and be kinder, always show love, and listen to one another."
Caroline had previously spoken out about her battles with anxiety and depression and called for people to talk with loved ones about their emotions.
In an Instagram post on October 14, she wrote: “I wanted to write something about mental health day last week but I was knee deep in work.
"And some days it’s hard to write your feelings or your not in the right place.
"The last few weeks I’ve been in a really weird place . . . I find it hard to talk about it . . . I guess it’s anxiety and pressure of life . . . and when I actually reached out to someone they said I was draining.
"I feel like this is why some people keep their emotions to themselves.
"I certainly hate talking about my feelings. And being a burden is my biggest fear."
