The Office’s John Krasinski fuels reunion rumours as he confirms ‘I’d absolutely love to do it’
JOHN Krasinksi has piled the pressure on The Office show bosses for a reunion episode, or better still, series.
The acclaimed actor and filmmaker has found acclaim on the big screen thanks to horror hit A Quiet Place, which is set for a sequel later this year.
However, it was his stint on beloved NBC comedy The Office that put him on the map for TV fans – something that the hunk is completely happy with.
Krasinksi opened up about how important the show was to him and admitted he’d love to reprise his character Jim Halpert.
“The Office was absolutely everything to me. I mean it is my beginning and my end. I’m pretty sure at the end of my career I’ll still be known for Jim,” he told Esquire.
“That was my first experience with Hollywood. It was the first creative family I’ve ever had,” he went on.
“In many ways, they will always be the most important people in that most important experience in my career.
“So yeah, if they did a reunion, I would absolutely love to do it,” he concluded.
It’s not the first time Krasinksi has teased a return to the spoof documentary show.
In a nod to the original UK series, he previously called for a one-off Christmas special back in 2018.
“I think we should reboot it, I think it’s hard obviously with everybody’s schedule to do an Office reboot, but I would so be down,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
“Maybe we could do like a Christmas special or something,” he continued.
“The British show did a Christmas special, which is like, ‘Where are they now?’ for one episode because I don’t know how we’ll get everybody together for 22 episodes.”
The Office is available to stream on Netflix.
