When Lorraine asked about the age difference, the Mel Owen actress said she’s stopped caring what other people think – except her daughters.

Luckily, they both think the world of him.

Tamzin told Lorraine: “It’s about connection. I’ll tell you what it is, when you get to this age, you stop caring what people think.

“The only opinions I care about are my two girls, they adore him, they do. That’s all I need.”

Tamzin spoke about her relationship on Lorraine

Tamzin has two daughters with her ex husband and Lucifer actor Tom Ellis: Marnie, seven, and Florence, 11.

The pair married in 2006 and split in 2014 after he reportedly cheated on her with Lost actress Emilie de Ravin.

He’s now married to screenwriter Meaghan Oppenheimer.

Tamzin said she’s been accused of being in a midlife crisis because of her relationship with a man 11 years her junior, but she has gushed about how happy she is.

Speaking to The Sun Online earlier this year, she said: “People think I’m having a midlife crisis, but not all men want a younger woman.

“Tom’s very good for my mental and physical health. He reminds me to just breathe if I’m not having a great time. And he reminds me to sweat, to work out, because it makes you feel better.

“We exercise together. We met years before we went on a date. Our eyes met across a crowded yoga studio, and we’ve been together for more than two years now.

“We have a lovely time. It’s comfortable and we make each other happy.

“I’m living in the now and not worrying about it because I don’t have to, as there’s nothing we desperately want or need from each other.”
