SPURNED lover Luke Posner begs Victoria Sugden to give their relationship another chance in Emmerdale next week.

Luke and Vic have been getting cosy in recent weeks but after she has a flashback of his rapist brother while she’s with him, the new mum runs a mile.

Emmerdale fans were horrified when Victoria was raped by a man named Lee last year during a night out.

Her brother Robert then accidentally killed him and was sentenced to life imprisonment.

To make matters worse, Victoria discovered she was pregnant with her rapist's baby.

As if the Posners hadn’t already ruined Vic’s life enough, they then wormed their way into the village.

Lee’s mum Wendy savagely accused Victoria of fabricating the rape and has been sniffing around her and the baby ever since.

But the midwife - who is played by actress Susan Cookson - has since come to terms with the fact that her son was a violent rapist.

Meanwhile, a romance has also blossomed between Victoria and Lee’s brother Luke but fans have been uneasy about the development since day one.

Viewers were suspicious of Luke when he first bumped into Victoria at the hospital and started chatting her up.

Fans didn’t believe he had no idea who she was - and were convinced he was targeting her for revenge in the wake of his brother’s death.

Emmerdale spoilers have already revealed that Victoria is set to suffer a nasty flashback this week while getting cosy with Luke.

As things get heated between the pair, Vic gets a sudden flashback of her rapist Lee and pulls away from Luke.

She’s sickened to realise that Luke reminds her of Lee and that by dating him, she’ll never be able to escape her traumatic past.

But in an episode next week, Luke asks Victoria to give their relationship another go.

Emmerdale are yet to release any further details - so fans will have to tune in to find out what happens between the pair.

Viewers were convinced that Aaron - and not Victoria - would be Luke’s new love interest after they noticed sexual tension between the pair.
