DANCING On Ice pro Hamish Gaman has announced he's engaged to girlfriend Amelia Humfress - and said he's putting the Caprice drama behind him.
Writing on Twitter, the 36-year-old star said: "It’s finally time for some good news ❤.
"We’re engaged, And we’ve now set a date! After so much negativity, it feels so good to talk about something positive."
The mention of negativity is almost certain to be a reference to the .
The 48-year-old model only skated one routine on a live show with professional partner Hamish before they "parted ways" last month.
Speaking to magazine, he said the drama with Caprice caused the couple to accelerate their plans.
He said: "I've known for a long time that I want to spend the rest of my life with Amelia, but what I've been through made me keen to make that commitment to her sooner than we'd anticipated.
"For the past few months I've been in a dark place which I couldn't have got through without her."
He and Amelia, who met on Tinder and have been together for four years, are now planning to get married in December.
