Who is DI Malone in Emmerdale?
DI Malone is a detective set to appear in episodes of Emmerdale later this week as he arrives to investigate Nate Robinson's shooting.
Fans will know that Will was hiding a loaded gun in the house to protect his family from gangsters from his dodgy past.
But when Dawn’s young son Lucas came across it during a game, Harriet begged her ex Cain to dispose of the weapon.
But disaster struck when Cain used the gun to shoot Nate after mistaking him for a livestock thief.
DI Malone will arrive to question Cain and Will about the gun in upcoming scenes.
And it will soon become clear that Will has history with Malone...
