EASTENDERS Ian Beale found himself blackmailed by Dotty Cotton tonight after the scheming youngster found evidence he is responsible for Denny's death.
The councillor went white when Nasty Nick's daughter played him the desperate call the lad made as water flooded in to the room he was locked in during the boat disaster.
And Dotty wasted no time naming her price for keeping quiet - insisting she wants slippery Beale to get her the Arches.
Ian started the episode dismissing Dotty's theory that he killed Dennis, insisting he was a "pillar of the community" and she was a "criminal's daughter".
But things changed dramatically when she played him the call, taken moments before Sharon's son drowned - which proves Ian locked him in.
She asked him: "Do you know what a butt call is?" before pressing play on Dennis's harrowing screams.
Dennis was then heard yelping: "Help! Help! Help me! Ian, where are you? I'm sorry all right, I'm sorry. Open the door please! There's water coming in."
She told Ian: "Why is he saying that? Dennis died because of you."
And later, they met up in the restaurant kitchen to do a dirty deal.
Ian told her: "Just tell me what I've got to do to make this go away. I'll do anything."

She replied: "I want the Arches" - and wouldn't listen when he insisted it belonged to Ben Mitchell.
As Chris Rea's Road To Hell played ominously in the background, Dotty added: "Ben's your brother. Half. Quarter. A fifth, whatever.
"He owns the Arches. I want it. And if I don't get it, I'll tell everyone who you really are."
Viewers were amazed as they said Ian was getting his comeuppance, with one writing on Twitter: "Dotty blackmailing Ian! Go on, lass! "
Another said: "Dottie is defo her father's daughter. Nick Cotton was just as scheming and would defo have resorted to blackmail given the chance. Don't mess with her Ian"
