Emmerdale’s Luke’s dark side teased by Max Parker as he and Victoria’s romance hits the rocks

EMMERDALE'S Luke Posner has a secret dark side and is "broken" actor Max Parker has revealed.

The chef is the brother of dead rapist Lee and is currently in a relationship with Lee's victim Victoria Sugden.

But while fans have been terrified he could turn out to be like his brother, actor Max teased viewers haven't seen all of Luke yet.

He said: "Well I don't know. What I personally think is that Luke is very, I relate him a lot to myself.

"He's very assured, he's very cheeky in a showman, but there's definitely some cogs broken inside and it doesn't necessarily mean he's going to be a bad guy, but it means that he needs something.

"He needs someone like Victoria, if he needs purpose or if he needs to be fighting for to be the favourite child. I don't think you've seen all sides of Luke just yet."

Max added that he wanted to delve into Luke's backstory as this week the couple face more challenges as Victoria struggles to cope with them sleeping together.

He said: "I genuinely don't know but I would like to. I'd like to explore more to Luke and just this side just because no ones really got one agenda and no one really has.

"I guess if you play it like that maybe it's a bit lazy. I'm intrigued as well to find out whether I just take, so far they've explored a few sides and there's a few more to go hopefully we'll see."

The actor also revealed he would love to stay on the soap long term.

He said: "I would love to! I would definitely love to. Like I say I don't think my other avenues have been explored yet so take that as you will. So yeah I'd love to."
