DOCTOR Who wrapped its twelfth season last month, with Jodie Whittaker facing off against The Master for a finale of explosive proportions.
However, amid all the high-octane action, there were some subtle clues about the gang’s fate in the most unexpected of places.
In a new video, Bradley Walsh, explained that there was a thread connecting all of his work with show runner Chris Chibnall from over the years.
"I'm going to let the cat out of the bag now - whenever I've worked with Chris Chibnall, my characters have been West Ham fans, although I support Arsenal. Don't ask me why!" he began.
Next he pointed to a pin worn on Graham’s lapel, which many could mistake for a West Ham badge at first glance due to its distinctive colouring.
"In actual fact, it isn't - I designed this badge, and this badge says: 1966 World Cup Winners: [Bobby] Moore, [Geoff] Hurst, [Martin] Peters... And they played for West Ham during the 1966 World Cup,” he went on.

"So, all West Ham fans said, 'West Ham won the World Cup, basically!’"
If you’re confused about the significance of football trivia in relation to Doctor Who, hang in there, as Walsh went on to explain how the badge have a major nod to the show’s protagonist.
He explained that the latin word on the pin is "Obduro", which means "hard," and W-H-O for West-Ham-Obduro symbolises our favourite Time Lord.
Unsurprisingly, fans couldn’t get enough of the Easter Egg and took to the comments section in excitement.
“This is genius!” one user gushed, while another added: “Wow, that’s dedication, love that.”
A third chimed in: “He got us, I LOVE subtlety!”
In other Doctor Who news, Bradley Walsh and Tosin Cole are reportedly set to leave the show after the Dalek-based Christmas special.
Filming for season 13 will begin this autumn, for a 2021 release.
Classic episodes Return of the Cybermen and The Faceless Ones will be rebooted to tide fans over in the meantime.
All episodes of season 12 can be streamed on BBC iPlayer.
