Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter is returning to celebrate the soap’s 25th anniversary four years after leaving
ACTRESS Jorgie Porter is heading back to Hollyoaks to celebrate the Channel 4 soap’s 25th anniversary.
The star, 32, is reprising her role as cheeky Theresa McQueen after leaving four years ago.
She originally took on the role in 2010, and has also been seen in Dancing On Ice, I'm A Celebrity and Celebs Go Dating.
During her time away Jorgie forged a career on stage and spent time in LA auditioning for Hollywood roles.
Her return comes after showrunner Bryan Kirkwood hinted that classic characters would be back for the show’s landmark year.
A telly source said: "Jorgie is excited about the comeback and can’t wait to get her teeth back into her favourite role.
"Bosses were keen to resurrect one of its most popular characters to draw in original viewers."
Ditzy Theresa left the village after surviving Nico's murder attempt but even on her exit she managed to forget her own baby daughter Myra-Pocahontas.
At the last moment she realised and took her to Spain with her where they have lived ever since.
The blonde star recently bemoaned looking for love online after having her Tinder account shut down by her mates because they thought it was fake.
She said: “No one believed it was me. People were messaging me going, ‘There’s a fake of you on Tinder. But don’t worry, we’ve reported it and we’ve cancelled it’.

“I was like, ‘No, it really is me’. I didn’t get any dates and most of the people getting in touch were a bit catfishy, which was weird.”
She’ll definitely have no shortage of admirers now.
