Towie’s Kirk Norcross says Gemma Collins and Arg will be ENGAGED soon as he calls Lauren Pope the ‘love of my life’
KIRK Norcross has said he believes Gemma Collins and James Argent will be engaged soon.
The 31-year-old, who claims he will be taking part in the upcoming Towie ten year reunion, opened up about his former castmates – admitting that Lauren Pope is the “love of his life.”
Speaking to magazine about on/off couple Gemma and Arg, he said: “From what I’ve heard, her and Arg are still going strong. Maybe by the time we meet she’ll be engaged to him. It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest.”
Arg recently paid tribute to Gemma after completing a stint in rehab and she has made it very clear she is hoping for a ring on her finger.
The couple's relationship famously started back in 2012 when the stars were on Towie together – but they have struggled over the last year with James being rushed to hospital twice.
Meanwhile, Kirk – who quit fame to unblock drains – admitted he still hold a flame for his ex Lauren.
Kirk is now a dad of two and in a long-term relationship with Danielle Louise Carr, while Lauren is pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Tony Keterman.
But despite them both moving on, he said: “Even thinking about Lauren now is hard. The girl was the love of my life. The bond we had was very hard to describe.
“I believe it wasn’t for TV and social media, I would have spent the rest of my life with her! We may well have been married today. My feelings remain the same now as they used to be for her.”
The original Towie cast are expected to reunite later this year to mark their ten year anniversary – so far it is thought that Amy Childs and Mark Wright are on board.
Kirk previously told us he wasn't interested in returning - saying: “I realise working up a ladder clearing drains and jet-washing driveways isn’t as glamorous as being on the telly.
