Teen Mom Amber Portwood claims she ‘crawled from hell’ but is ‘leaving the past’ behind after domestic violence arrest
AMBER Portwood claimed that she "crawled from hell" following her arrest for domestic violence.
The Teen Mom OG star posted an emotional message as the MTV reality series airs footage following her arrest.
As the 29-year-old's storyline on the MTV reality series shows viewers how she handled her July 2019 arrest, she took to social media last night with some heartbreaking words.
posted a sketch saying: "One step at a time."
The MTV star captioned the photo: "Crawling from hell. Fallen from grace. And there is nothing left to take.
"Leaving the past to the grave. So we can reincarnate."
In July 2019, Amber was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
A fight with boyfriend Andrew Glennon escalated and she allegedly attacked him with a machete.
In October, she was given no jail time and the court accepted a plea deal.
While Amber tells her side of the story on , Andrew has denied to do the same.
Andrew said to : “The ONLY way I would consider continuing the same show with the person who inflicted the pain, who inflicted such pain and abuse upon James and I, would be if we were paid the same as our abuser."
Amber and Andrew share one son together, James, 1.
After the arrest, Andrew was given primary custody of their son.
In December 2019, following months of a nasty custody battle, The Sun exclusively learned that the former couple has been trying to resolve their battle outside of court.
Following Amber's arrest, she received the support of her MTV co-stars, including her first baby daddy Gary Shirley and his wife Kristina.

Andrew recently confessed to his fans that he disagrees with Gary supporting Amber.
A fan wrote on Instagram to Andrew: "I don't understand how he and Kristina support her. I was screaming at the TV 'Did you forget she abused you too?'"
Andrew replied: "Tight lips allow abuse to thrive. Dude saw blood streaming from my nose at Leah's first day of school after I was attacked while driving my son and her."
