Corrie’s Colson Smith jokingly accuses Lucy Fallon of cutting him out as she pays lockdown tribute to loved ones

CORRIE's Colson Smith has jokingly accused his former co-star Lucy Fallon of cutting him out of an emotional tribute to her loved ones.

The actor who plays Craig Tinker in the ITV soap made the joke after Lucy posted a series of pictures of her friends and family from happier times and pre-coronavirus lockdown - but failed to include a snap of her former colleague.

"Really missing my team today. I don’t want to complain at all because I know so many people are in much worse situations," wrote Lucy, who played Coronation Street's Bethany Platt for five years.

"And I’m so grateful to our NHS and all of our key workers who are keeping this country together right now. But I am missing them. And I know a lot of you will be missing people too!

"So I wanted to share these pics that I love. I promise to never ever take for granted any of the little things again."

The 24-year-old added: "Can’t wait to hug them and kiss them again. Hopefully soon. Stay safe and stay home 🖤 x"

And among those to comment was Craig, 21, who said: "Didn’t make the cut. Ouch. It’s only been a few months."

But Lucy was quick to respond with: "@colsonjsmith I actually was waiting for this comment u little munchykin x"

Lucy filmed her final scenes on the cobbles in January, which aired last month.

She announced she was leaving the soap in May last year after deciding not to renew her contract, in order to seek out new projects.

Lucy has been documenting her feelings during lockdown and admitted she was feeling emotional about the situation, but urged people to keep isolating.

Currently holed in with her boyfriend Tom Leech, the actress shared a clip of herself making cookies, and wrote: “Feeling a bit emotional today – so I have made some peanut butter protein cookies for Tom and I’m just sat on the floor waiting for them to be done.

“Hope everyone is hanging in there and feeling ok.”

She's also been spending her free time exercising and showed her attempt at doing kick ups with a roll of tissue.
