Tom Brady claims wife Gisele Bundchen wasn’t ‘satisfied’ with their marriage and he had to ‘check’ himself
FOOTBALL player Tom Brady revealed that his wife, Gisele Bundchen, wasn't "satisfied" with their marriage and he had to look inward to see how he could improve and make her happier.
He also claimed their marriage isn't what people perceive it to be.
In an interview with Howard Stern on the Stern Show, he revealed that Gisele was unhappy with him "a few years ago."
The said: "There was a couple years ago, she didn’t feel I was doing my part for the family.
"She felt like I would play football all season and she would take care of the house, and then all the sudden when the season would end, that I’d be like, 'Great, let me get into all my other business activities. Let me get into my football training.'
"And she’s sitting there going, 'Well, when are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school and do that?'"
The said that rather than fighting about it, he had to "check himself" and made a "big transition" two years ago to get things back on track.
He skipped OTA practices with the Patriots during the latter parts of the offseason.
He continued to explain: "She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage, so I needed to make a change in that."
The now Tampa football player revealed she wrote him a letter as a thank you and he keeps it as a "reminder for him that life is ever-evolving."
The father of three also realized: "What worked for us 10 years ago won’t work for us forever.
"We’re growing in different ways."
