However, she has returned to our screens in the new ITV series Quiz.

Who is Jasmyn Banks?

Jasmyn Banks is an English actress, born August 20, 1990.

She is most well-known for her role in EastEnders as Alice Branning.

However, she has also starred in shows such as Call The Midwife, Doctors and A Very English Scandal.

In 2020 Jasmyn starred as Nicola Howsom in the ITV series Quiz.

When was Jasmyn on EastEnders?

Jasmyn was cast as Alice Branning in EastEnders in April, 2012.

At the time, the budding actress was working in a bar when she received the news that she had been cast to star as Alice Branning in the popular soap.

Her first appearance in EastEnders was aired in May 10, 2012.

However, her time on EastEnders came to an end on December 24, 2013. Her character was framed for murdering her partner on the show, Michael Moon.

Jasmyn claimed she left Eastenders before Christmas because she wanted to pursue her career in Hollywood. A BBC source told the Sunday Mirror that " not to return has threw scriptwriters into a right old spin".
