However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic Piers will be adding an extra day to his duties - with the TV presenter confirming the news on Twitter today.
Responding to a fan who had praised GMB's updates on the health crisis, Piers wrote: "Thanks Tris, I'll actually be doing 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs) on @GMB for the foreseeable future, starting tomorrow."
Later, he added: "UPDATE: On tomorrow's @GMB we'll have man of the moment @captaintommoore, @KathJenkins singing We'll Meet Again live... and @MattHancock
"Oh, and me. I'm now doing Thursdays too - which I'm sure the Health Secretary will be especially pleased to learn."

Piers' coverage of coronavirus has received mixed reviews from GMB viewers in recent weeks, with the star sparking Ofcom complaints earlier this month after tearing into Housing Minister Robert Jenrick on the live show.
However, others have praised his no-nonsense interviews and earlier today he hit the headlines when he accused Care Minister Helen Whately of laughing several times during an interview about deaths in care homes in an excruciating segment.
Piers was one of the first celebrities to speak of the severity of the pandemic last month when he questioned why the government weren't doing more to prevent COVID-19 from spreading.
He also wrote a powerful article that declared Britain to be "at war" with coronavirus, which has so far claimed the lives of over 13,000 people across the UK.
