Alan Carr fans claim he’s Curtis Pritchard’s double in ‘hot’ throwback snap

ALAN Carr shocked his fans over the weekend after he posted a serious throwback snap of himself at 20-years-old.

Alan, 43, decided to take part in the popular #meat20 social media trend on and dug out an old snap from a trip to New York City.

In the photo the comedian appears to be stood at the top of the Empire State Building in Manhattan, with the famous NYC skyline visible behind him – including the Twin Towers.

Alan captioned the post: “Bit late to the party but here’s my  Where does the time go?!!!!

“I was like oh my god – there’s the twin towers and then I was look oh my god I’ve got a fringe!!”

Alan is sporting his typical toothy grin in the picture and is wearing a beige sports top and checked trousers.

While it’s clear to see that it’s him, fans couldn’t help but compare him to another celebrity.

Taking to the comments section, many of Alan’s followers likened him to Curtis Pritchard.

“I thought this was Curtis from Love Island !! Twins!!” one person wrote, while another added: “I thought you were Curtis off of Love Island 😂.”

A third person wrote: “Dopple ganger for the dude that was on love island and is the brother of one of the strictly professionals…..cannot remember his name!😂 (sic),” while a fourth commented: “I thought it was Curtis Pritchard at first glance 😂.”

The Greatest Dancer star is yet to comment on the comparison, but Alan did the grab the attention of some other celebrities.

Melanie Sykes commented on the photo: “What a cutie xxxxx,” while Gok Wan added: “FIT” followed by the flame emoji.

Pop star Mollie King posted three purple hearts, whilst Jessie Ware wrote: Hot stuff ! Xxx.”

Holby City star David Ames jokingly added: “Awww look at ‘im! Like butter wouldn’t melt!”

Alan was quick to reply and told the actor: “@semadivad oh love the butter had already melted.”
